September, 2007
LOMC partnering with Lutherdale Bible Camp received an initial $35,000 grant from Thrivent to expand opportunities for urban youth to experience summer camp through a fundraising, marketing and scholarship program. This initiative is being called "Widening the Circle." Jim Zei has been hired as the project director to increase awareness of outdoor ministries and enhance support for this project.  Check out the JUMP Concert coming up!


August, 2007
LOMC gets re-accredited ! Every three  years, LOMC goes through a re-accreditation process with the American Camp Association. This certification distinguishes LOMC as a camp that meets mandaroty standards for health, safety and program quality.

LOMC welcomes Kostya Subbotin to our summer staff! Kostya comes to us from Cherboksary, Russia. He came to LOMC as part of an international program through the ELCA.

We now have larger under the counter refrigerators and microwaves in Dody and Marander Lodges. Both lodges and the hospitality center are WiFi enabled.
