On Saturday, February 16, 2008 the Greening of the Synod Task Force of the Social Ministry Committee hosted a training event for congregational Green Teams offering practical and inspirational guidance and resources for the process of bringing "care of creation" into congregations.

 

On November 1, 2008, Doug Scott, Director of the Illinois EPA presented a work shop on what "going green" means for the state of Illinois.

 

On February 28, 2009 Bishop Wollersheim kicked off a meeting where congregational representatives came together to learn more and share stories of how they are greening in their congregations. Energy audit info from workshop is below.
