The
Apostles program is a
commissioning of LOMC
representatives at all 500 churches we serve - to spread the
good word about LOMC.
Apostles need to spread the word about the powerful faith-deepening experiences that happen at
LOMC year round.
Requirements:
1.) Promote
LOMC by communicating all
the faith deepening opportunities at LOMC's
summer camp, family camp, group retreats or even during a
personal sabbatical.
2.) Communicate the needs of your
WELCA, Men's group,
Church Council and others in the congregation so that our
staff can create a custom retreat around those needs.
3.) Be proficient on Email and
willing to use this tool as a way to get the word out about
the best kept secret in Northern Illinois.
4.) Participate in one of the many
activities that LOMC has
to offer including Turtle Search Sunday, Memorial Day Work
Weekend or AutumnFest.
5.) Work collaboratively with the
pastor and church staff to find ways to extend the ministry
of your church out to our 650 acres at
LOMC.
