Fine Art & Music Camps
|
If you have a flair for music, drama or
art, consider one of these camps. You will be involved in activities to explore
and express your talents, creativity and interests. Each day you will receive
instruction from a professional director, and still have time for many other
camp activities with your friends. Campers live in air conditioned retreat
houses during the week.

Campers will learn how to translate what is seen into shapes
proportional with other shapes and how to properly use a range of
drawing utensils. You will then apply what you learn to an 18” x 24”
self-portrait that will be complete by the end of the week. The
concepts taught can be carried over into drawing any subject. All
supplies will be provided and can be taken home at the end of the week.

Swing Choir Tour Grades 9-12

Travel across the
state of Illinois
and sing and dance as a member of LOMC’s Swing Choir Tour. Several days
of on-site rehearsals will prepare you for the tour, staying with host
families, and being a member of this incredible ministry. Prior
participation in Swing Choir camp is preferred but not required. Those
who have not participated in Swing Choir will need a letter of
recommendation from a choir director. |
