Mission Statement

The purpose of Lutheran Outdoor Ministries Center (LOMC) is to be the Church in outdoor settings, nurturing Christian faith and providing experiences connecting the Word of God with the World of God.

Who We Are

LOMC is the tool of each individual Congregation within the Church. We are a resource, not a separate entity. We offer an extension of the ministry provided by the Church, not a different approach to sharing the message of Christ. Our mission statement gives us only one goal: To teach the Word of God in the World of God, no matter what the environment participants are in.
