LOMC 2010 Summer Camps for Grades 9-12

All the World's a Stage IV Dates July 11-16 $354

The flashbulbs sparkle, red carpet lines the path and our limo awaits us as we travel from LOMC to Hollywood without ever leaving our 640- acre city of the stars. Act and sing, create sets, and attend our own LOMC Oscar's Ceremony. Be a part or our camp drama where every youth is a celebrity but Christ has the biggest role.

Mission Impossible II Dates July 4-13 $479

Suspicion lurks around the corner and intrigue into camp. Missions are bigger and more extreme. For 10 days, secret agents get put to the test with daily missions and travel to the back wilderness of LOMC and Castle Rock State Park with a three-day canoe trip. This brochure will self-destruct in 30 seconds. Campers will stay in a hogan - a platform tent with bunkbeds - and traditional tents

Picture This II Date June 20-25 $354

Eek - call the exterminator. There is an infestation at camp. Shutterbugs are everywhere. Bring your own digital camera and see the world of God through the lens. Get a new view on picture taking techniques, shooting methods, and learning what makes a good picture click. Get exposed to telling a story with a picture. Focus on the God's nature gallery around you, and hear it say, "cheese."

Retro Week IV Dates August 1-6 $334

We're not jumping back into the 70's, but flashback as we groove to our top 10 hits from the summer. Can't decide which camp week sounds like most fun? Take a picture of a singing tribe lost on a top secret challenge. This week you get a variety as we recycle the best of summer. We celebrate a mighty God who has worked powerfully in the past and who will continue in the present and future. Retro week - where everything old is new again.

Survivor II Dates July 11-16 $315

On the way to LOMC, our plane has experienced a little mechanical difficulty and we just made an emergency landing somewhere in the wilderness. It is up to campers to make it back to camp safely by building shelters, creating fire without matches, and exploring God's world. Nobody gets voted out because survival depends on tribal team effort. This is the ultimate use of outdoor survival. Campers will be sleeping in traditional tents.

Swing Choir Tour Dates July 18 - 30 $489 NEW LOWER PRICE

Encore! Encore! Could not get enough of Swing Choir? Meet new people while staying with host families and be a member of this incredible music ministry. Get warmed up the first few days at camp. Then swing into action travelling across Illinois. Those who have not participated in Swing Choir will need a letter of recommendation from a choir director.

THEKA Grades 10-12 Dates June 13-July 25 (two weeks) $409

Do you like to help others? Do you want to learn more about nature and the environment? Study ecosystems and discover how God created each unique part of creation to work together as a whole. Learn why God wants us to help others, how we are each uniquely created for it, and then go and do it! You can apply your camp lessons to everyday life and working at LOMC after high school.
